I have been talking about the pi day of the century for years now. It doesn't get more pi-ish than on March 14, 2015 at 9:26 and 53 seconds. We ordered t-shirts, cut out tons of numbers, baked lots of pies and invited many friends over to celebrate. Pi is actually a pretty fascinating little number. The fact that the decimal is infinite and never repeating is mind boggling. That means that eventually somewhere in that number sequence you can find every number that means anything to you like your PIN numbers, social security number, important dates etc. Pretty crazy, huh? But let's be honest this was really just a good excuse to eat tons of pi.
The kids were actually so excited for this party. I love that they loved it.
Chocolate pudding, banana cream and key lime mini pies
Joeys favorite pie was the top right one... I used our magic cookie bar recipe and just cooked it into a pie dish.
Kenny, ziad, tarek, and Sebastian. Kenny had so much fun with his buddies all night.
My berry pie
It's always more fun when Ada is there! // I snapped this after the first few guests arrived, but you should have seen all the pies once all the guests started showing up!
Ada's experimental flavor. It was so fun trying at least 25 different pies!
The highlight of the party for Ellie was having her best friend from her preschool class, Colton there!
BRUCE!!
Joey, Bruce, Novalee and Bret Rigby
One more because that smile!!
